Brooks Brothers, for 8,593 square feet of retail space in the highly successful Town Center of Virginia Beach, located in the heart of Virginia’s largest city. The new location is the first Brooks Brothers store to open in the Hampton Roads area.
“346? is a new prototype concept for Brooks Brothers. It is the retailer’s approach to a more casual lifestyle, offering high-quality garments for both men and women. “346? Brooks Brothers carries an array of traditional and fashion-forward apparel.
Known for its classic styling, Brooks Brothers is one of America’s oldest retailers, specializing in men’s suits and outerwear. In 1818, Henry Sands Brooks founded the nation’s first ready-to-wear fashion emporium, which currently operates about 180 upscale retail stores and outlet locations throughout the country and another 100 abroad. Brooks Brothers has become an institution that has shaped the American style of dress through fashion innovation, fine quality, personal service and exceptional value.
Brooks Brothers is one of the latest retail tenants to lease space in Town Center’s Block 3 at 249 Central Park Avenue. Comprised of 94,730 square feet, Block 3 is a three-story, mixed-use building, which includes first-floor retail and second- and third-floor office space. Current tenants are The Cheesecake Factory, Keagan’s Irish Pub, Rack & Rack Law Firm, Strayer University and Global Support Software.
Gerald Divaris and Mary McGovern, of Divaris Real Estate Inc., represented the landlord, Greenbrier Technology Center II, in the lease negotiations. The Town Center of Virginia Beach is leased by Divaris Real Estate Inc. and is managed by Divaris Property Management Corp. The project is being developed by Armada Hoffler Holding Company.
