(DRE), announced the signing of two leases for retail space in the Divaris-leased Short Pump Station located at the intersection of West Broad Street and John Rolfe Parkway in Henrico County, Va. AA Bridal, LLC, doing business as Alfred Angelo, will occupy 4,440 square feet in the lifestyle center. Jake & Friends, LLC, trading as Life is Good, has leased 1,600 square feet of retail space in Short Pump Station.
Trader Joe’s specialty grocery anchors the 91,369-square-foot Short Pump Station. Other tenants include ULTA Cosmetics, Five Below, Petco, Longhorn Steakhouse, Omaha Steaks and Vitamin Shoppe. Located in the heart of Short Pump, the center is adjacent to West Broad Village, a 115-acre mixed-use development currently under construction. Short Pump Station boasts high visibility from West Broad Street and close proximity to both I-64 and I-295.
Alfred Angelo is a 68-unit retail chain specializing in custom wedding apparel and formalwear. This is the first Alfred Angelo store in the metropolitan Richmond area. For 75 years, the company has been dressing wedding parties in elegant and affordable designer gowns from its stores in California, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
This is also the region’s first “Life is good” store — a nationally branded gift, clothing and accessory retailer famous for its stick figure character “Jake”.
