BETH SHUTTS, RPA
As Director of Lease Administration, Beth has been with Divaris since 1998. She manages a staff of four and oversees the lease administration for a diverse portfolio of properties throughout the mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Her responsibilities include abstracting, auditing, and reviewing lease documents, preparing annual expense reconciliations and operating budgets, tracking critical lease dates, options, and leasing restrictions. She has developed thorough lease administration procedures and customized lease abstracts and reporting through the Yardi property management software.
Her prior experience includes senior lease administrator for Goodman, Segar, Hogan, Hoffler where she trained the lease administration staff, managed a retail and office portfolio, and developed operating procedures. As the building administrator for Turner-Harwood Ventures, she was responsible for the leasing and property management of two Class-A office buildings.
As vice president and general manager for Burlage Corporation, Beth directed the construction, marketing, sales and finance operations for a resort and real estate developer. She sold hotel/condominium interests and developed operations for an interval ownership project (timeshare).
Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from East Carolina University in North Carolina. She is a licensed Virginia real estate salesperson and a Real Property Administrator (RPA) through BOMA International.
