DAVID S. REDMOND

Dave Redmond is a commercial sales and leasing agent in DRE’s Virginia Beach, Virginia headquarters office. His responsibilities include the leasing of retail space and tenant representation throughout the Southside of Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Prior to joining Divaris Real Estate, Redmond was Director of Government and Community Relations for Tidewater Community College. His other prior experience includes serving as executive director of Smart Region Hampton Roads, a non-profit community development project of the Hampton Roads Partnership, a regional public policy group, where he served on the Governor’s Commission on Information Technology’s Task Force on E-Communities. Redmond also has 14 years of experience on Capitol Hill in senior positions for five members of Congress and one House of Representatives committee.
A Virginia Beach native, Redmond received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary with concentrations in English and Philosophy, and is a board member of the college's South Hampton Roads Alumni Association Chapter. He is also a member of the Hampton Roads Association for Commercial Real Estate, a 2001 graduate of Leadership Hampton Roads, and in 2003 was the SunTrust Foundation Fellow in the Thomas C. Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at the University of Virginia.
