DEBORAH H. WAKE

Debbie is Senior Vice President for DRE’s Richmond, Virginia office. Active in all markets of central and western Virginia, Debbie is the tenant and landlord representative for both retail and office clients in their site selections throughout Virginia.

She is responsible for successfully negotiating leases for corporate headquarters including LeClairRyan’s in Richmond that was one of the largest lease for office space of the year. As LeClairRyan’s tenant rep, she has negotiated leases totalling in excess of 120,000 square feet in Richmond, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Alexandria, Virginia and Washington, DC. Additionally, Debbie has been in charge of the leasing of the Class B office building, 411 East Franklin Street in Richmond, and has served as tenant representative for Oyster Consulting and Claris Financial where she negotiated leases in excess of 15,000 square feet.

Debbie brings over 20 years of corporate office and retail real estate experience including market/demographic analysis, site selection, sales forecasting, leasing and purchase negotiations and acquisition. She has held real estate management positions with Marriott Corporation, Best Products and Heilig Meyers Furniture.

Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. She serves on the board and was past president of Greater Richmond Area Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE), International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and ULI. Debbie has been consistently named a Co-Star Power Broker and was selected in 2010 as one of Richmond’s Top 20 Commercial Real Estate Women by CREW, Richmond.
