KENT CARDWELL
Senior Property Manager, Richmond, Virginia

Kent Cardwell is Senior Property Manager in the Richmond office of Divaris Property Management Corp. As such, he is responsible for all tenant and landlord dealings in all of Divaris Real Estate's central Virginia properties.

In 2002, Kent joined DRE’s Richmond office as Retail Leasing Associate. He represented and negotiated for tenants in site selections throughout Central and Western Virginia and also worked on shopping center leasing for DRE clients. In June, 2008, Kent was promoted to Senior Property Manager and now manages properties totaling just under 800,000 square feet.

His career began at Heilig-Meyers Furniture where he served as project manager, real estate representative, and directed the property management department of the then 1,200-store retail chain. Kent also worked as regional real estate representative for Dollar General, where he was responsible for site selection and lease negotiations in the mid-Atlantic region.

Kent's broad experience in all facets of commercial real estate makes him well suited to the demands of property management.
