Larry has represented local, regional and national retailers in the site selection and development of retail and commercial properties throughout a multi-state area including freestanding properties, in-line shopping centers, outparcels, big-box retail, suburban power centers, and life-style centers.
Larry Agnew has been one of the top producing sales and leasing brokers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Over the last ten years, Larry has represented and negotiated in excess of $150 million in sales and lease transactions with local, regional and national developers and retailers.
As an associate broker for Wilton, Larry Agnew’s sole focus was the retail sector. In 2006, he joined The Wilton Companies’ Third Party Brokerage Group. In the 1980’s, Larry joined Morton G. Thalhimer as a commercial agent, eventually serving in leasing and development capacities specializing in retail/investment brokerage. With Thalhimer, he was always one of the top producing transactional brokers in the Richmond Metropolitan area.
Properties he has represented include: Colonnades West – 150,000 square feet, Chesterfield Market Place – 425,000 square feet, River Road II – 30,000 square feet, Hanover Square South 525,000 square feet and Colony Crossing – 40,000 square feet.

His tenant representation clients have included: Walmart Stores, Home Depot, Bloom Brothers Furniture, Rhodes Furniture, Northern Handyman, Shoe Carnival, Kinko’s, Hollywood Video, Circuit City, EQ3, Lane Furniture, and SuperCuts.
Institutional clients of Larry’s have included: Cousins Properties, North American Properties, Faison, CBL, DeBartolo, Washington Real Estate Investment Trust, Forest City Enterprises, S.J.Collins Enterprises, Regency Centers, and Lexington Realty Trust.
Education:
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Virginia Commonwealth University.

He served as a board member on the VCU Foundation and a board member on Bon Secours St. Mary’s Health Care Foundation.
Industry achievements he has received include: Richmond Association of Realtors (RAR), Ten Consecutive Year Recipient of the Distinguished Achiever award; RAR, Annual Recipient of the Distinguished Achiever Award since 1989.
