Melinda Simons is a retail sales and leasing associate in DRE’s Virginia Beach, Va. headquarters office. In this position, Simons handles retail tenant and landlord representation assignments throughout the Greater Hampton Roads, Va. market.

Her current projects include assisting with the leasing of Landstown Commons, a 490,000-square-foot, mixed-use development under construction at the intersection of Dam Neck and Princess Anne Roads in Virginia Beach, Va., and The Marquis, a one-million-square-foot, mixed-use, open-air entertainment and retail center located on the Virginia Peninsula, adjacent to Water Country USA.

Simons was previously with DRE’s office sales and leasing division in Virginia Beach, Va., where she assisted with the servicing and representation of office clients throughout Hampton Roads.

A licenced real estate broker in Virginia, she is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, (ICSC), serving as co-founder/co-chair of ICSC's Next Generation Southeastern Virginia Chapter.
