ROBERT PODEWILS

Robert Podewils is general broker of the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., where he is involved in all aspects of transactional brokerage including sales and leasing for office and retail properties.

During his 21-years in commercial real estate, Podewils held positions including most recently managing director and senior advisor for Sperry Van Ness where he conducted over $100 million in investment sales over a five-year period and helped secure the permanent financing in numerous transactios and assisted in the loan assumption process for several clients.

He has also been vice president of Carlsen Douglas Development in Charlotte and partner in Sykes International in New York, NY.

Podewils is a candidate member Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a member of Urban Land Institute, Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR), and International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).

He holds a certificate of commercial real estate from New York University in New York, NY, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.
