Sharon Morgan has been general manager of the Biltmore Square Mall in Asheville, North Carolina, since 2007. She is responsible for maintaining the property, including specialty leasing, marketing, administration and staff development

Sharon brings to DRE over 22 years of experience in shopping center and property management. Her previous position was as general manager with Jones Lang LaSalle, general manager and specialty leasing manager for Simon Property Group as well as holding general manager positions and marketing director positions with Glimcher Properties, Urban Retail, Heitman Retail and The Hahn Company.

She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and is an active member with the Asheville Chamber of Commerce.

Her prior work experience includes being a copywriter and traffic director for several radio and television stations in Tennessee and Texas, as well as a retail advertising manager and co-op advertising director for several newspaper chains in Virginia and Texas.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from East Tennessee State University, has a CSM and a CMD certification from the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a licensed real estate broker in the states of North Carolina and Florida. Her community involvement includes serving on the Board of Directors for the Asheville Humane Society.
