TAZEWELL RINEHART
Senior Property Manager, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Tazewell Rinehart has been Senior Property Manager of the Virginia Beach office of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. since 2007.  Her responsibilities include: overseeing a designated commercial property portfolio, including generating annual budgets and monthly financial statements, overseeing tenant and building improvements, correspondence with tenants and owners, handling tenant delinquencies, and any other directives of the property owners in the Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Portsmouth markets. She brings to DRE 20 years of experience in residential and commercial property management. Her previous position was as Property Manager with Olympia Development.

Her prior work experience includes being a residential property manager for several key apartment communities over a 13-year span.  Her responsibilities included all aspects associated with running residential apartment communities including: supervising a staff of up to14 employees, interviewing and hiring staff, developing and monitoring yearly budgets and negotiating contracts with sub-contractors and well as handling the collection of all rents and processing of all invoices for payment. Tazewell has held a commercial property management position for the past seven years.  

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Averett College and is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Virginia.  Her community involvement includes serving as a Catechist with her church, helping with her daughter’s Brownie troop and participating in several activities to help raise money for groups such as the American Heart Association, Breast Cancer Awareness and Parkinson’s Disease.
