Check City Buys Former Pizza Hut in Virginia Beach

Virginia Beach, Virginia: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. announced the sale of .3 acres of land to RTTA, LLC, trading as Check City.  The property, a former free-standing Pizza Hut,  is located at 1064 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, Virginia.   It  was sold for $500,000.

Check City is based in Utah and operates 32 stores throughout the United States.   It is a financial services company that offers pay day loan check cashing and tax preparation.

Lori Campbell of DRE’s Virginia Beach office represented the tenant in the negotiation.  Realty Executives handled the transaction on behalf of the seller, East Supermarket, Inc.
