Divaris, Chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the signing of a lease with Eligio Pena, doing business as Compare Foods, for 60,793 square feet in the Independence Shopping Center located at 5610 East Independence Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. Compare Foods joins The Sports Authority, T.J. Maxx, La-Z-Boy, Blockbuster Video and Radio Shack in the Independence Shopping Center.
This is the fourth location in the Carolinas for the international grocery store. Compare Foods has supermarkets located in New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island. For over 15 years, Compare Foods has offered the best quality of groceries, the finest customer service and the lowest prices in the market.
Stephen Kramer, of DRE’s Charlotte office, represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The space was sublet by Harris Teeter.
