RICHMOND, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of two retail leases totaling more than 21,000 square feet and three leases totaling 7,815 square feet of office space in Richmond.
PetSmart renewed its lease for 19,734 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Parc Place at Short Pump, located at 11736 West Broad Street. Debbie Wake, senior vice president of Divaris Real Estate’s Richmond office and Tom Londres of Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., represented the tenant. The landlord, Gibraltar Virginia S, LLC, was represented by Sara Goodall, associate in DRE’s Richmond office. PetSmart is the largest specialty pet retailer that provides a broad range of competitively priced pet products and in-store services including pet adoption, boarding, grooming and training.
Kamayan Restaurant leased 1,577 square feet of restaurant space in Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7102-B Hull Street Road. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, HSW, LLC and RMW1, LLC, by Goodall. The Filipino restaurant joins Rite Aid, AutoZone, Dollar General, Subway, Jackson Hewitt and Radio Shack.
Schettine & Nguyen PLC signed a lease for 5,000 square feet of office space at the American Cigar Building, located at 10 South 23rd Street. Lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, F.C. Phillip Morris, L.P., by Brett McNamee of Divaris Real Estate’s Richmond office. Schettine & Nguyen offers legal services in the areas of collection, business, commercial and civil litigation, equine and landlord/tenant law.
Life Lessons Family Services signed a lease for 1,508 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7206 Hull Road. Goodall handled lease negotiations were on behalf of the landlord. Life Lessons Family Services is an in-home supportive care agency that provides hands-on assistance with daily activities.
Insight Investigations and Security Systems signed a lease for 1,307 square feet of office space, also located in 360 West Shopping Center. Again, Goodall handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord. The Richmond-based investigation agency specializes in criminal mitigation in capital cases.
