Virginia Beach, Virginia: Michael B. Divaris, president of Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), announced the following lease transactions were completed for more than 56,000 square feet of office space throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia:
Morton G. Thalhimer leased 9,336 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Armada Hoffler Tower located at 222 Central Park Avenue in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. Michael Divaris, Vivian Turok and Krista Costa of the Virginia Beach headquarters of DRE handled the lease negotiations for the landlord, Armada Hoffler Tower 4, LLC. Other office tenants in the building include: Williams Mullen; Troutman Sanders; Hampton University; Armada Hoffler, Mass Mutual and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Four transactions were signed for office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Windwood Centre, located at 780 Lynnhaven Parkway in Virginia Beach. Elizabeth Paasch and Turok represented the landlord, Continental Windwood Centre, LLC., in negotiations with PrimeLending for 4,970 square feet of office space. Paasch and Turok also finalized a lease expansion with Trinity Applied Strategies Corporation, trading as TAS-Corp for 1,348 square feet of office space.
Turok completed a lease expansion and a lease extension with Carrell Blanton Garrett and Van Horn, PC and Hampton Roads Neuropsychology for 2,160 and 1,800 square feet of office space, respectively, in Windwood Centre.
Two other Divaris-leased and –managed properties also signed leases for new or renewed office space. Representing the landlord, Southport Elizabeth Investors, Inc., Turok renewed a lease for 6,540 square feet of office space in Southport Trade Center with Venture Sales Group, LLC. Also at the property, located at 349 Southport Circle in Virginia Beach, Turok handled negotiations with new tenant, Buzz Killers, LLC, trading as Mosquito Joe, for 3,843 square feet.
Michael Divaris represented HRSA-ILA Pension Plan, the landlord of HRSA-ILA Benefits Building, located at 1355 International Terminal Boulevard in Norfolk, in a lease with Hampton Roads District Council. HRDC will occupy 3,204 square feet of office space in the building which is leased by Divaris Real Estate and managed by Divaris Property Management Corp. Port of Hampton Roads ILA FCU signed a lease for 1,979 square feet in HRSA-ILA Benefits Building as well.
Melinda Simons, of the Virginia Beach office of DRE, represented the landlord, KWP IBC, LLC, in lease negotiations with G4S Secure Solutions (USA) for 3,000 square feet of office/warehouse space in Independence Business Centre. This signing represented a renewal of a lease for space located at 412 Investors Place in Virginia Beach.
On the Virginia Peninsula, Costa represented the tenant, CDM Smith, Inc., in lease renewal negotiations with landlord, CBL – Two Oyster Point, LLC, for 5,347 square feet in Two Oyster Point Road, located at 825 Diligence Drive in Newport News.
