Norfolk, Virginia: Michael B. Divaris, president of Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), announced the following lease transactions were completed for more than 35,000 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Interstate Corporate Center (ICC), located at the intersection of Interstates 64 and 264 in Norfolk.
Sentara Medical Group leased 16,750 square feet of office space at 6333 Center Drive in the 17-building office campus. Divaris and Elizabeth Paasch represented both the tenant and the landlord, ICC Norfolk FlexxOffice, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
Falconwood, Inc. renewed two leases for office space in Interstate Corporate Center — 4,124 square feet and 3,298 square feet at 6330 North Center Drive. Headquartered in San Diego, California, Falconwood is a small, woman-owned, veteran business management and technology consulting firm specializing in strategic planning, systems engineering, program management, information assurance, independent test and evaluation and advance technology. Paasch handled both sides of the lease renewal for the tenant and the landlord.
The Spine and Orthopedic Pain Center renewed its lease for 4,057 square feet of office space in ICC at 6160 Kempsville Circle. Paasch represented the tenant in the lease renewal with the landlord, Hub Properties Trust.
Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care, PLC, signed a lease for 2,261 square feet at 420 North Center Drive. The medical facility has taken advantage of the synergy between Interstate Corporate Center and its closest neighbor Sentara Regional Medical Center (formerly Sentara Leigh Hospital). Paasch represented the tenant and the landlord.
Marine Engineers Beneficial Association (M.E.B.A.) signed a lease for 2,122 square feet located at 6325 North Center Drive. Established in 1875, the Marine Engineers’ Beneficial Association is the oldest maritime trade union in the United States still currently in existence. Paasch handled both sides of this transaction for the landlord and the tenant.
Hampton Mental Health Associates, Inc. signed a lease for 1,589 square feet of office space in Interstate Corporate Center at 400 North Center Drive. Since 1991, the company’s outpatient mental health services have included medication management, individual or family therapy for children and adults with all types of mental health disorders, developmental disorders, and learning problems.
Diane Taylor, doing business as The Counseling Center, signed a lease for 1,129 square feet of office space located at 400 North Center Drive. The Counseling Center LLC is a client-centered treatment agency that offers a variety of outpatient services to individuals, couples, and families, including counseling groups for substance abuse, anger management, family-addiction education, and co-parenting classes. Paasch represented the tenant and the landlord in the lease negotiations.
