Virginia Beach, Virginia: Michael B. Divaris, President of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced that the Office Division in the Virginia Beach headquarters negotiated the signing of five leases totaling 17,500 square feet of space.
Fresenius Medical Care signed a lease for 8,000 square feet of office space located at 44930 Worth Avenue in California, Maryland. The tenant was represented by Vivian Turok, senior vice president of the Virginia Beach office of Divaris Real Estate. Fresenius Medical Care, the world’s largest integrated provider of products and services for individuals undergoing dialysis because of chronic kidney failure, a condition that affects more than 2.1 million individuals worldwide. Turok has represented Fresenius Medical Care in several lease negotiations for office space throughout the mid-Atlantic.
Dermalogica renewed its lease for 5,000 square feet of office space at 10 East 38th Street in New York, New York. The tenant was represented by Michael Divaris, Krista Costa and Vivian Turok. Divaris Real Estate has been the exclusive real estate representative of Dermalogica in the U.S. and Canada for over 15 years. DRE has completed over 30 transactions including securing offices in major cities, placement of a distribution center on the East Coast, and relocation of Dermalogica’s global operations headquarters and distribution facility in Los Angeles. Dermalogica’s products are found in more than 6,500 preferred skin treatment centers, salons and spas throughout the world.
Dermalogica also leased 1,497 square feet of retail space at 132 McGill in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. DRE worked with Avison Young’s Liam Mayes to represent Dermalogica in Montreal. This location will accommodate the Dermal Learning Center, and a new office/retail hybrid concept that Dermalogica is introducing in select North American markets.
Zenetex, LLC renewed its lease for 1,805 square feet of office space in One Columbus Center in Virginia Beach. Zenetex is a certified small business specializing in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. The lease was handled on behalf of the landlord, Columbus Tower, LLC, by Michael Divaris, Krista Costa and Vivian Turok. One Columbus Center was the first high-rise office building in what is now the highly successful Town Center of Virginia Beach.
Russell Realty Associates renewed its lease for 1,261 square feet of office space at the Divaris-leased and -managed Interstate Corporate Center at 6325 North Center Drive in Norfolk, Virginia. Elizabeth Paasch and Chris Bendit of the Virginia Beach office of DRE, represented both the landlord, ICC Norfolk FlexxOffice, LLC and the tenant in the lease negotiations.
