Divaris Real Estate Announces $18 Million and 157,837 Square Feet in Completed Transactions for January 2019

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 32 transactions totaling $18,115,654 and 157,837 square feet of sold, leased and renewed commercial property in the Hampton Roads and Richmond, Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina and metropolitan Washington, DC markets in January 2019.

Sales Transactions

  • Former Sports Authority, North Mall Drive, Virginia Beach, VA

    Former Sports Authority, North Mall Drive, Virginia Beach, VA

    Mishorim Gold VAB, LP purchased the 41,162-square-foot former Sports Authority retail space in the Lynnhaven North Shopping Center at 2720 North Mall Drive in Virginia Beach for $1.95 million. Levi Thomson represented the seller, Wells Fargo Bank, Trustee for MLMT 2004-KEY2.

  • Gelzinis Properties, LLC purchased a 3,020-square-foot office building at 5625 Providence Road in Virginia Beach from Jenkins Properties of Tidewater, LLC for $375,000. Jason Oliver represented the seller.

Lease Transactions

  • Zoe Therapy Services leased 5,780 square feet of office space in the Libbie Law Center at 2201 Libbie Avenue in Richmond. Eric Hammond and Dean Foster represented the landlord.
  • Jobs Have Priority leased 3,493 square feet of office space at 810 Potomac Avenue, SE in Washington, DC. Rob Gray and Joe Farina represented the landlord.

  • Ameriprise Financial renewed its lease for 3,600 square feet of office space in the Town Center of Virginia Beach at 249 Central Park Avenue in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa, Michael Divaris and Vivian Turok represented the landlord.
