Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Completes 11 Transactions Totaling 95,068 Square Feet

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 11 transactions totaling 95,068 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the greater Hampton Roads market.

Lease Transactions

Victory Crossing, Portsmouth, Va

Farm Fresh will reopen its 57,643-square-foot supermarket in the Divaris-leased and -managed Victory Crossing Shopping Center located at 4000 Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth, Va.  DRE’s Levi Thomson and Kris Fuller and Leo Greco of Excess Space represented Supervalu, while DRE’s George Fox represented the landlord in the transaction. Other tenants in Victory Crossing include: Dollar Tree, PaylessShoesource, Rainbow, GameStop, Pizza Hut, SunTrust Bank, Metro PCS, Ashley Stewart and the UPS Store.

Shockwave Strength and Performance leased 23,491 square feet of retail space in Newport Marketplace located at 353 Chatham Drive in Newport News, Va. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Norfolk Vaping leased 3,000 square feet and Grand Champion Barber Shop leased 1,080 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Glenwood Shopping Center located 8401 Hampton Boulevard in Norfolk, Va. David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Glenwood Shopping Center include: Food Lion, Dollar General, Pizza Hut, Subway and Hair Cuttery.

Michael Michele Nail Spa leased 2,237 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach located at 180 Central Park Avenue. Erica Rorrer, Gerald Divaris and Sezin Cortinas represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The nail spa will be located on the ground floor exterior of the Cosmopolitan Apartment block between Jones Art Gallery and Hinterland Trading.

Taco Bell executed a 1.15-acre ground lease for a 2,057-square-foot restaurant in the Godwin Marketplace located at 2906 Godwin Boulevard in Suffolk, Va. Levi Thomson represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Peak A View Baby leased 1,250 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Berkshire Shops located at 1296 South Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake, Va. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Beauty Assassin Studio leased 1,250 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Larkspur Square located at 4700 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Larkspur Square include: 21 Burgers, Allure Salon & Spa, The Fitness Lab and 360 Design.

Boost Mobile leased 1,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Oyster Point Square located at 11710 Jefferson Avenue in Newport News, Va. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Oyster Point Square include: Food Lion, Family Dollar, UPS Store, BB&T and Cricket Wireless.

Lease Renewals

The Smoke Shop renewed its lease for 1,260 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Victory Crossing shopping center located at 4006-A Victory Boulevard in Portsmouth. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Code Blue 4 U renewed its lease for 800 square feet of retail space in in the Divaris-leased and -managed Lake James Shoppes located at 5347 Lila Lane in Virginia Beach. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
