Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Completes 17 Transactions Totaling 50,518 Square Feet

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 17 transactions totaling 50,518 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the greater Hampton Roads, Virginia market.

Off The Hook Seafood purchased a 5,622-square-foot, freestanding building on 1.53 acres of land located at 136 North Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake, Va from R Boyd Melchor, LLC for $1,675,000. George Fox represented the buyer in the transaction. This is the third location for the Chesapeake-based seafood restaurant. The property was formerly a Kelly’s Tavern at the entrance to Great Bridge Locks Park on the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River.

Lease Transactions

Advance Auto Parts leased 6,438 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Lightfoot Marketplace located at 6493 Centerville Road in Williamsburg, Va. George Fox, Harrison Hall and Peter Vick represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Lightfoot Marketplace include: Harris Teeter, CHKD, Panera Brad, Heartland Dental, Virginia ABC, and Great Clips.

Aspen Dental Management leased 3,600 square feet of retail space in Hampton Roads Crossing located at 1017 University Boulevard in Suffolk, Va. Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Reach Orthotic & Prosthetic Service leased 2,966 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Little Neck 3400 Building located at 397 Little Neck Road in Virginia Beach. Vivian Turok represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Kessler Psychological leased 2,428 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union located at 4164 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Serenity C&C, Inc. leased 2,400 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Poplar Hill Professional Center located at 4057 Taylor Road in Chesapeake. Elizabeth Napolitano and Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Coffee & Bagels leased 2,168 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed One Columbus Center located at 283 Constitution Drive in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. Sezin Cortinas, Erica Rorrer and Gerald Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Levi Thomson represented the tenant. Coffee & Bagels is the first-time partnership of Caribou Coffee and Einstein Bros Bagels with Caribou handling the drinks and Einstein serving the food. The space will be located on the first floor of the office tower, facing the Clark Nexsen building on Main Street.

Ntegra IT leased 1,978 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union located at 4164 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Kapers Catering and Eatery leased 1,510 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Berkshire Shoppes located at 1296 S. Battlefield Boulevard in Chesapeake. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Berkshire shops include: Three Girls Restaurant, Allstate and Peak Endurance.

Great Clips leased 1,258 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Haygood Shopping Center located at 1085 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Haygood Shopping Center include: Harris Teeter, Marshalls and Chick-fil-A.

Duck Donuts leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in Hampton Roads Crossing located at1013 University Boulevard in Suffolk. Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Lease Renewals

Community Alternatives renewed its lease for 10,835 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased property located at 5700 Thurston Avenue in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa and Katherine Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Brain Balance renewed its lease for 2,856 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Fairfield Shopping Center located at 5286 Fairfield Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Food Lion, T.J. Maxx, Rite Aid, Starbucks and Verizon.

Argo Turboserve Corp renewed its lease for 2,012 square feet of office space located at 5700 Thurston Avenue in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa and Katherine Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

A Tech Systems Inc. renewed two leases for 1,702 and 945 square feet of office and warehouse space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Southport Trade Center located at 349 Southport Circle in Virginia Beach. Elizabeth Napolitano and Vivian Turok represented the landlord in both lease negotiations.

Tidewater Counseling Group renewed its lease for 600 square feet of office space in Liberty Commons located at 12695 McManus Boulevard in Newport News, Va. Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations with the community-based counseling group.
