VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of 28 transactions totaling 122,953 square feet of commercial space throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia.

Sale Transactions

L&TJ Enterprises purchased the10,535-square-foot Green Run Medical Plaza located at 2020 South Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach from Davidson Physician Associates for $1,065,000. Jason Oliver represented the seller in the negotiations. The property is a single-story multi-tenanted medical office building built in 1984. It is situated on heavily traveled South Independence Boulevard between Lynnhaven and Princess Anne Road, 1.5 miles from Sentara Princess Anne Hospital.

Joseph Smith, Ltd purchased a 16,527-square-foot office building located at 27 West Queens Way in Hampton, Virginia from TRE Properties, Inc. for $885,000. The property is a multi-tenant, three-story brick structure on .21 acres of land. Levi Thomson represented the buyer in the negotiations.

Richard Levin purchased an assemblage of properties including 11 East Mellen Street, 15 East Mellen Street and 14 East County Street in Hampton from Thomas Jackson, Gendolyn Martin and Nancy Jackson for $625,000. Eleven East Mellen Street consists of a two-story, 5,644-square-foot building on .11 acres, 15 East Mellen consists of a two-story, 1,233-square-foot building on .05 acres, and 14 East County Street consists of a one-story, 1,472-square-foot building on .07 acres. Missy Martinovich represented the buyer in the negotiations.

Vimal Patel purchased a 2,542-square-foot former 7-Eleven store located at 13131 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Va from MNG Bayview, LLC for $205,000. George Fox and Kris Fuller represented the seller, and Aeri Jai represented the buyer in the negotiations.

Lease Transactions

Cantina Laredo leased 7,612 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach, Block 9 located at 4505 Commerce Street in Virginia Beach. Sezin Cortinas, Gerald Divaris, Erica Rorrer and Lei Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The modern Mexican restaurant will be on the second floor of the newest block in the Town Center of Virginia Beach, above Pottery Barn and Williams Sonoma. Other restaurants in Town Center include Ruth’s Chris Steak House, PF Changs, The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, Bravo Cucina Italiano, McCormick & Schmick’s, Yard House, Shake Shack, Gordon Biersch Brewery and many more.

Cava Mezze Grill leased 2,657 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Columbus Village Shopping Center located at 4485 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Sezin Cortinas, Gerald Divaris and Erica Rorrer represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The Greek/Mediterranean restaurant will occupy space fronting onto Virginia Beach Boulevard that was formerly part of the downsized Barnes & Noble store.

Shannon & Associates, P.C. leased 2,346 square feet of office space located at 840 Greenbrier Circle in Chesapeake, Va. Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Domoishi leased 2,000 square feet of retail space in the Shops at the Arboretum located at 9101 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, Va. Aeri Jai represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Domoishi has 13 signed locations as of today and five more expected by the end of the year. Aeri Jai is master broker for Domoishi throughout the country.

Specialists for Women leased 1,950 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Harbour Breeze Professional Center located at 1510 Breezeport Way in Suffolk, Va. Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Domoishi leased 1,646 square feet of retail space in Denbigh Village Centre located at 14346 Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Va. Aeri Jai represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Defenders, Inc. leased 1,625 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Executive Cove located at 5606 Virginia Beach Boulevard in Virginia Beach. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Almloff Acupuncture leased 1,311 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased property located at 361 Southport Circle in Virginia Beach. Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the tenant while Vivian Turok and Jason Oliver represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
