VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of nine transactions totaling 43,572 square feet of sold, leased and renewed commercial space throughout Hampton Roads.

Sale Transaction

Bbgrealestate Hampton Roads, LLC purchased a 30,000-square-foot single-story building in Airline Business Park located at 3303 Airline Blvd. in Portsmouth, Va from Commercial Building Associates for $1.5 million. Levi Thomson represented the buyer in the transaction.

Lease Transactions

Firehouse Subs leased 2,423 square feet of retail space in Harbour View East located at 6255 College Drive in Suffolk, Va. Levi Thomson and David Redmond represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Basil Mediterranean Bistro leased 2,525 square feet of retail space in 5th Street Station located at 355 Merchant Walk Square in Charlottesville, Va. Erica Rorrer, Lawrence Agnew, Mary McGovern and Zachary Means represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. 5th Street Station is a 73-acre property that Divaris leased from the ground up. Existing tenants include Wegmans, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Field & Stream, A.C. Moore, Haverty’s, Planet Fitness, Petsmart, Timberwood Tap House, Red Mango, Mattress Warehouse, Hand & Stone, Sentara Family Medicine, GNC, Sprint and Verizon.

Scratch Bakery leased 2,250 square feet of retail space on the first floor of the Divaris-leased property located at 19 East Mellen St. in Hampton, Va. Missy Martinovich represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Mane Life Salon leased 1,400 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Victory Center located at 190 Arthur Way in Newport News, Va. George Fox and Kristopher Fuller represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Victory Center include Tida Thai, Mariner Finance, GNC, China Ocean, My Gym and Fancy Nail Salon.

Foxtail Winery leased 1,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased property located at 15 East Mellen St. in Hampton. Missy Martinovich represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

O’s Donuts leased 1,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 21st Street Pavilion located at 222 West 21st St. in Norfolk, Va. Missy Martinovich represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Tenants in 21st Street Pavilion include Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, Batteries Pus, Changes Hairstyling, Jake’s Place Men’s Spa, Blue Box Tanning Salon, Pak Mail, T-Mobile, Grooming Dales, Kin’s Wok and Caribbean Café.

The Peninsula Center for Independent Living leased 800 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased York River Crossing shopping center located at 2353 York Crossing Drive in Hayes, Va. Aeri Jai and Mary McGovern represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Shopping center is anchored by Peebles Department Store, Food Lion, the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), The Gloucester Public Library, a Virginia ABC store and YRC Cinemas.

Lease Renewals/Expansions

Golden Agri-Resources USA relocated and expanded its lease by 462 square feet to a total of 2,174 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Two Columbus Center located at 4500 Main Street in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. The company leased premises in One Columbus Center previously. Michael Divaris, Vivian Turok and Krista Costa represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
