Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Completes Seven Transactions Totaling 15,109 Square Feet

VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of seven transactions totaling 15,109 square feet of leased commercial space in Hampton Roads and South Bend, Indiana.

Lease Transactions

MAST One, 1040 University Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA

MAST One, 1040 University Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA

An international government contract consulting firm leased 6,503 square feet of office space in MAST One located at 1040 University Boulevard in Portsmouth, Va.  Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Sweetberry Bowls leased 1,806 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Landstown Commons located at 3376 Princess Anne Road in Virginia Beach.   Kristopher Fuller and Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Landstown Commons is anchored by Kohl’s, Best Buy, Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petsmart, A.C. Moore, Books A Million, and Office Max. Other tenants include: Starbucks, Carter’s, Lane Bryant, Rack Room Shoes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Hallmark, Massage Envy, AT&T, Longhorn Steakhouse, ULTA, Walgreens, Phoenix Salon and Kirklands.

Domoishi leased 1,400 square feet of retail space located at 6215 College Drive in Suffolk, Va.   The sushi and hibachi restaurant also leased 1,700 square feet of retail space in Kemps River Center located at 5394 Kemps River Drive; and 1,100 square feet of retail space in Buckner Retail Center at 3545 Buckner Boulevard in Virginia Beach.  Aeri Jai represented the tenant in all of the lease negotiations.   To date, Aeri Jai has represented Domoishi for a total of five new locations in Southeast and Central Virginia.

Tia’s Hair Spot leased 1,400 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Academy Crossing Shopping Center located at 3258 Academy Avenue in Portsmouth, Va.  David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Additional retailers in the center include: Leslie’s Pools, Department of Rehabilitation Services, LabCorp, LMS Medical Supplies, Fit Bodies, Gymboree and Rita’s Pizza.

Affordable Insurance North leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Broadmoor Plaza located at 1217 East Ireland Road in South Bend, Indiana.  Gerald Divaris, along with A-R-C Real Estate Group, represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Broadmoor Plaza is anchored by Kroger with other tenants that include: Staples, Joann Fabrics, Wells Fargo, Jackson Hewitt, Little Caesar’s and Burger King.
