TYSONS CORNER, VIRGINIA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of five transactions in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan market, totaling 70,076 square feet of purchased and leased commercial space.
Price Cutter Liquidators purchased 6,912 square feet of office space known as PNC Princess Anne Office 2, located at 11742 Somerset Avenue in Princess Anne, Maryland, from PNC Bank, NA for $92,500. Joe Farina and Amit Grover brokered the sale on behalf of the seller.
Halal Food Council U.S.A., Inc. purchased 5,224 square feet of office space known as PNC Princess Anne Office 1, located at 11738 Somerset Avenue in Princess Anne, MD from PNC Bank, NA for $82,500. Joe Farina and Amit Grover brokered the sale on behalf of the seller. Farina has handled the disposition of approximately 20 surplus PNC bank locations throughout Maryland.
The Coast Guard Exchange leased the system’s second off-base superstore, 55,138 square feet of retail space in the Centre Ridge Marketplace located at 6335 Multiplex Drive in Centreville, Virginia. The store is expected to open before the end of 2018. CGX is a military activity that operates as a business enterprise; income generated is used as working capital to maintain CGX locations throughout the United States and abroad as well as to provide the Coast Guard with supplemental funding to the Morale, Well-being, and Recreation (MWR) fund. The mission of the Coast Guard Exchange is to provide quality merchandise and services of necessity and convenience to the Coast Guard men and women as well as authorized patrons, at competitive prices. Joe Farina and Gerald Divaris represented The Coast Guard Exchange in the lease transaction.
Kabobi leased 1,768 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased The Mark at Dulles Station located at 2321A Dulles Station Blvd in Herndon, VA. Brandon Howard represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
New You Salon leased 1,034 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Highlands at Clarksburg located at 23231 Stringtown Road in Clarksburg, Md. Rob Gray represented the landlord in the lease transaction. Other tenants in Highlands at Clarksburg include: Subway, The UPS Store, Kumon Learning Center, Allstate and Epic Pharmacy.
