Divaris Renews Approximately 9,500 SF of Retail Space in Richmond, Virginia

Richmond, Virginia: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the renewal of two leases totaling more than 9,500 square feet of retail space in Richmond, Virginia.

Aaron’s renewed its lease for 8,008 square feet of retail space in the Brookhill Azalea Shopping Center at 5246 Chamberlayne Avenue. Aaron’s specializes in the sales and lease ownership of residential and office furniture, consumer electronics, home appliances and accessories. The lease was handled on behalf of the landlord, BSV Premier Brookhill, LLC, by Sara Goodall, in the Richmond office of DRE.

In a separate transaction, Subway renewed its lease for 1,575 square feet of retail space at the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7102-C Hull Street Road. Subway is the world’s largest sub shop chain in the world, with more than 37,000 locations. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, HSW, LLC & RMW1, LLC, also by Sara Goodall.
