VIRGINIA BEACH, VA — Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and chief executive officer of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the completion of 18,694 square feet of new and renewed office leases in the Richmond metropolitan area.
Friendly Motors signed a lease for 5,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Belt Trade Center, located at 133 E. Belt Boulevard. The lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, South Belt Flex, by John Madures of the Richmond office of Divaris. Friendly Motors specializes in the internet sales of high-end vehicles.
Zoe’s Kitchen signed a lease for 2,800 square feet of retail space in The Corner at Short Pump, located at West Broad Street and Lauderdale Drive. The lease was handled on behalf of the tenant, by Brett McNamee, of DRE’s Richmond office. Zoe’s Kitchen serves Mediterranean-inspired food, focusing on fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs and lean proteins with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options. This will be its second location in the Richmond market, following closely behind its planned restaurant in The Shops at Willow Lawn.
Personal Dental Care signed a lease for 2,723 square feet of office space at the Divaris-leased and –managed Archway Sixty Office Park, located at 9327 Midlothian Turnpike. Madures handled the lease for both the tenant and the landlord, Midlothian Partners of Virginia, LLC. Archway Sixty Office Park was acquired by Ingenuity Development, an affiliate of Divaris Real Estate in late 2013. The site offers corporate, medical and professional suites ranging in size from 810 to 10,000 square feet.
Premier Soccer signed a lease for 2,559 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Parc Place at Short Pump, located at 11736 W. Broad Street. Sara Goodall of DRE’s Richmond office handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, Gibraltar Virginia S, LLC. The soccer retail store will join PetSmart, Dollar Tree, Jason’s Deli, Tropical Smoothie and Portrait Innovations.
Premier Audio renewed its lease for 3,612 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and –managed 360 West Shopping Center, located at 7112 Hull Street Road. Lease negotiations were handled on behalf of the landlord, HSW, LLC and RMW1, LLC, by Goodall.
JRC Mechanical, LLC, signed a lease for 2,000 square feet of office space at 709 Dawn Street. Madures represented both the tenant and the landlord, Daniel Warren, in lease negotiations. The plumbing and mechanical Class A sub-contractor is licensed in both Virginia and North Carolina and has performed more than 350 successful construction projects since its incorporation in 1990.
