DRE Represents Havertys Furniture in 42,500 SF Lease in Winston-Salem

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA:  Gerald S. Divaris, chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of a lease with Haverty Furniture Companies, Inc., for 42,500 square feet of retail space in Stones Throw Plaza, located at 1935 Hampton Inn Court in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.   Havertys joins Barnes & Noble in the shopping center.

Havertys, established in 1885 in Atlanta, is a full-service home furnishings retailer with 119 showrooms in 16 states in the Southern and Midwestern regions, providing millions of loyal customers with a wide selection of quality merchandise in middle to upper-middle price ranges.

Diana Teitsma, principal in the Charlotte office of Divaris, represented Havertys Furniture in the lease negotiations.  Teitsma assists the retailer with its expansion plans throughout North and South Carolina.   To date, she has secured locations for Haverty’s in Raleigh, Asheville, Fayetteville and Wilmington, NC.
