VIRGINIA BEACH, VA: Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of five lease transactions totaling 20,618 square feet of commercial space. All of the leases were handled through the Virginia Beach office of Divaris Real Estate.
RAI Care Centers leased 7,776 square feet of retail space located at 6726 Mooretown Road in Williamsburg, Virginia. DRE’s Vivian Turok and Elizabeth Greer represented the tenant in the lease negotiations with the landlord, Brown Development Company, LLC.
Ann Taylor LOFT renewed its lease for 5,305 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach located at 221 Central Park Avenue in Virginia Beach. LOFT offers designs for women with more relaxed lifestyles both at work and home. LOFT offers value priced, coordinating career and casual accessories, apparel, footwear and petite sizes in a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. Other fashion retailers in the iconic Town Center include: Anthropologie, Free People, Monkees, lululemon athletica, Brooks Brothers, bevello, Destination Maternity, francesca’s, and Men’s Wearhouse. Gerald Divaris, Erica Meekins Rorrer and Sezin Cortinas handled the lease on behalf of the landlord, Armada Hoffler Block 8 Associates, LLC.
CosmoProf renewed its lease for 2,800 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Academy Crossing Shopping Center located at 3266 Academy Avenue in Portsmouth, VA. CosmoProf is the leading distributor of salon products to licensed professionals in the beauty industry. CosmoProf offers more than 25,000 hair, skin, and nail products, supplies and equipment from the top manufacturers across all categories for salons serving all client types. Additional retailers in the center include: Leslie’s Pools, Department of Rehabilitation Services, Labcorp, LMS Medical Supplies, Fit Bodies, Gymboree and Rita’s Pizza. DRE’s David Bickford represented the landlord, Academy Crossing Associates, in the lease negotiations.
That Game Store leased 2,620 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Pleasant Valley Marketplace located at 4221 Pleasant Valley Road in Virginia Beach. That Game Store is the place to buy, trade and play video games for systems old and new. DRE’s Eric Hammond worked on behalf of the landlord, Pleasant Valley Associates, in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in the shopping center include: Food Lion, Family Dollar, State Farm and Allstate insurance.
Virginia Beach Exotics leased 2,117 square feet of retail space in Timberlake Shoppes located at 4291 Holland Road in Virginia Beach. Virginia Beach Exotics offers specialty reptile products and quality captive bred reptiles, arachnids, and amphibians. Elizabeth Greer represented the tenant in the negotiations with the landlord, Timberlake Shoppes Associates, LLC.
