Susan Collins has been with Divaris since 1992 and has over 30 years of experience in commercial property management. She is responsible for all property management activities at Divaris. The portfolio consists of 100 office, retail and industrial properties totaling over 12 million square feet in fourteen states. Susan oversees a staff of 44 including 18 property managers, five assistant property managers, five property administrators, and 16 maintenance personnel. Her team holds advanced industry certifications such as CPM®, RPA®, ACoM®, and CPA and has more than 300 years of combined management experience.

She is an effective team leader with proven ability to manage and direct the staff in all aspects of property operations. As a well-seasoned professional, her management skills emphasize the control of expenditures, maximization of property value, and preserving the integrity of client assets. Her strengths are in financial administration, tenant relations, project management, asset management, receivership and property maintenance. Susan handles all training for the department, coordinates the annual budgetary process, reviews real estate assessments and taxes, resolves major tenant/landlord issues, and handles owner inquiries. She has developed and written the manual of Management Practices for the company, developed the monthly financial reporting package to clients, instituted an Operations and Maintenance Plan for Moisture Intrusion, Mold Prevention & Response, and has spearheaded development of the company’s Business Continuity Plan.

Prior to joining Divaris, Susan was with S. L. Nusbaum Realty Co. in Norfolk, Virginia, responsible for management of a 1,500,000 square foot retail portfolio. Her track record included lowering overall delinquencies from 22% to 3%, project management of major tenant buildouts; and obtaining a 12% tax reduction for one of their major projects.
