Fitness First Leases 14,000 Square Feet In Chantilly, Virginia’s Sully Place

Chantilly, Virginia: Alan Luger and Earl Goodman, Principals of the Rockville, Maryland office of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the signing of a lease with Fitness First for 14,400 square feet of retail space in Sully Place Shopping Center in Chantilly, Virginia.  Other tenants in the property include Lowe’s Home Center, Fashion Bug and Ruby Tuesday.

Peter Harvey founded Fitness First in 1991.  The company is headquartered in Gaithersburg, Maryland and now operates 14 locations in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.  The Chantilly location will be its 15th in metro Washington, D.C.  Fitness First is the largest Maryland-based chain of health clubs, serving approximately 30,000 members.  There are also four Fitness First centers on the Southeast coast of Florida.

Alan Luger, of DRE’s Rockville office, represented the tenant in the negotiations.  The landlord of the property is Beatty Management Co., Inc.  DRE is Fitness First’s exclusive national tenant representative.
