Harbor Freight Tools Leases 12,000-SF, Former Rex Store in North Myrtle Beach, SC

North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina:  Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman of Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), announced that a lease was signed with Harbor Freight Tools for 12,000 square feet of retail space in the former Rex electronics and appliances store located at 851 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Diana Teitsma, principal of the Charlotte, North Carolina office of Divaris Real Estate, represented the landlord, Klaff Realty, LP in the lease negotiations.  Teitsma is charged with the surplus disposition of nine Rex stores in North and South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.  To date, this is the sixth Rex property that has been leased or sold.

Harbor Freight Tools has become the largest tool and equipment catalog retailer with stores nationwide.  Since the company started in 1968, over 10 million customers have enjoyed their low prices and lifetime warranties on over 7,000 products in the following categories:  power tools, air tools, hand tools, automotive and motorcycle, lawn and garden, welding, engines and generators, garage and shop, and materials handling.
