VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA: Gerald S. Divaris, Chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the signing of a lease with Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters (CHKD) for 10,400 square feet of retail space in the Divaris leased Giant Square Shopping Center located at 737 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach.
The space will be used as a CHKD thrift store to raise money for the Hospital. Since 1896, the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters has been Virginia’s only free-standing, full-service, not-for-profit pediatric hospital – treating children from birth through age 21. Children's Hospital attends to children's needs on many levels, such as developmental, psychological, physical and social, and supports pediatric education and research. With this lease, CHKD opens the 20th store in the Hospital’s chain of thrift stores.
