Kimley-Horn Signs on as First Tenant of the New Two Columbus Center in Town Center of Virginia Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH,
VIRGINIA: Michael B. Divaris,
president of Divaris Real Estate Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of
lease with Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. for
19,000 square feet of office space in Two Columbus
Center, the latest retail and office building being constructed in
the highly successful Town Center of Virginia Beach. Kimley-Horn
is the first tenant to lease space in the six-story Class A
building.
Breaking ground in late 2007, Two
Columbus
Center
will be a 109,000-square-foot glass and brick building conveniently
situated within walking distance to upscale dining, banking, luxury
apartments, retail shops, personal service providers and a private health
club. It will include 13,577
square feet of first-floor retail and 18,000 square feet of office space,
on each of the second through sixth floors, for a total of 103,577 square
feet of gross leasable space. The building will front onto Constitution
Drive and Main
Street, at one of the
gateways into The Town Center.
Kimley-Horn

represented the landlord, Columbus Tower II LLC, in the lease
negotiations.
The Town Center of Virginia Beach is
leased by Divaris Real Estate Inc. and is managed by Divaris Property
Management Corp. The Town Center
of Virginia Beach is being developed by Armada Hoffler
Holding Company. Other office
tenants in The Town Center include:
