Divaris Real Estate Appointed Exclusive National Broker For R/C Theaters

REISTERSTOWN, MD: J. Wayne Anderson, chairman/ceo of R/C Theaters announced the appointment of Divaris Real Estate as its national real estate representative. R/C Theaters, a Maryland based cinema operator that has been in business for over 85 years, has launched a national expansion program. Wayne Anderson and a group of investors recently purchased the company from its former owner, Irwin Cohen.

R/C Theaters plans to focus on "technically correct" cinemas. Their state-of-the-art, stadium-seating complexes will be located in markets that are currently underserved. R/C Theaters' chief operating officer, Dennis Daniels, was formerly coo of United Artists in Denver, Colorado.

One of the first new R/C Theaters cinema complexes will open in 2000 in Pinellas Park, Florida. The 19-screen, 75,000 square foot, stadium seating complex will be located in the Divaris leased and managed ParkSide Mall, which is being expanded and redeveloped for The John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Gerald Divaris, chairman/ceo, of Divaris Real Estate will coordinate R/C's expansion program. New locations will be sought throughout the country and, as master broker, Divaris Real Estate will hire subagents in various markets to assist with the program. Negotiations are already underway for several new locations in Florida, Maryland, New Jersey and Ohio.

The Dermal Group Appoints Divaris Real Estate its National Representative

LOS ANGELES, CA: Divaris Real Estate has been appointed exclusive national real estate consultant for The Dermal Group, one of the country's leading skin care providers.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, the company manufactures and distributes skin care products, both nationally and internationally. The Dermal Group has eight regional office locations in the United States, and operates internationally throughout Europe, South Africa and The Far East.

Negotiations have been concluded to expand The Dermal Group's headquarters, which will be accommodated in two properties totaling 96,000 square feet. Over the next twelve months, DRE will negotiate the renewal and expansion of their offices in San Francisco, Chicago and Miami.

DRE also assisted The Dermal Group in finding locations in Chantilly, Virginia, where they signed a lease for 13,381 square feet of office space, located at 14030 Thunderbolt Place; and in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they renewed an existing lease for 2,338 square feet of office space in the Lake Shore building located at 3201 West Commercial Boulevard.

Michael Divaris manages the account from DRE's headquarters in Virginia Beach, along with Vivian Turok, vice president of DRE's office Division.

DRE Manages 630,353 Square Feet of Office & Retail Space Throughout Georgia
