 Divaris Leases and Manages Crossways Shopping Center

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - In early 2000, Divaris Real Estate, Inc. and Divaris Property Management Corp. were appointed to undertake the management and leasing of the 371,735-square-foot Crossways Shopping Center in the Greenbrier Section of Chesapeake, Virginia. 

The property is situated at 1412 Greenbrier Parkway, directly across from the Greenbrier Mall. It accommodates several national tenants including Wards, Office Depot, Starbucks Coffee, Marshalls, A&N and ALLTEL. The leasing assignment includes the repositioning of several stores and the re-tenanting by new retailers entering the Hampton Roads market.

"The challenge with repositioning Crossways is to enhance the overall tenant mix by converting the two vacant boxes in the center (formerly Best Products and Uptons) into vital and viable retail spots," says Carol Melatti, retail leasing associate in DRE's Virginia Beach office. "Our plans for landscaping and improving the signage will increase visibility."
