Daycare Adds Value to netp@rk.tampabay. DRE to Assist Creative World in National Expansion

TAMPA, FL: A study conducted by the Society for Research in Child Development stated that children who attend a high-quality childcare and preschool can expect to have improved readiness to learn and may be less likely to eventually drop out of school or to be involved in criminal behavior, later in life.

One company that strives to offer the highest quality of daycare to children is on a mission to spread the word across the country.

Recognizing the need for reputable, affordable childcare, netp@rk.tampabay has partnered with Creative World to offer licensed childcare, on-site. Creative World's state-of-the-art facility at netp@rk.tampabay provides numerous resources for children to expand their minds, explore their world and realize their potential. Creative World School leased 17,750 square feet of space in the Divaris leased and managed netp@rk.tampabay.

This twelve-room facility includes a 4,850 square foot exploratorium, featuring an indoor park area with a merry-go-round, three playgrounds with safety surfacing as well as a play area with sand and water. Also included are storytelling areas, computer stations, a variety of interactive learning centers and an extensive food preparation area. The center keeps low teacher/student ratios and is licensed for up to 300 children.

It is estimated that 20 percent of netp@rk's employees have daycare needs, so Creative World has provided a value-added service, added convenience, quality education, and competent care for netp@rk's employees, as well as the employees of surrounding office complexes.

"Exploring, investigating and discovering are the key elements of our curriculum. We focus on developmentally appropriate practices designed to meet the cognitive, emotional, social, physical and intellectual needs of the young child. In our classrooms you will find children experiencing and experimenting, as they discover the joy and wonder of learning. Our caregivers facilitate the children's learning and maintain the highest standard of excellence in our centers," according to Billie McCabe, president of Creative World.

The center is described as a magical place filled with books and blocks, where children can discover with computers and kaleidoscopes, and where smiles, hugs and laughter are abundant.

Creative World School, Inc., is headquartered in Raytown, Missouri. It is privately owned by husband and wife team Billie McCabe, president, and Dwayne McCabe, executive vice president. Creative World, which was founded in 1970, operates state licensed childcare centers in four states. Creative World owns and manages 17 centers and operates an additional six centers under management contracts in Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Florida.

Creative World's commitment to quality childcare at affordable prices, has provided the direction for the company. This commitment is reflected in the variety and types of centers that they own, operate and manage. In addition to designing and building their own centers, they have also purchased existing centers or remodeled and re-equipped other buildings for their locations.

"Having prototype buildings that are easily recognizable has not been our priority. The differences in our sites are among our greatest strengths, giving parents a choice about the size, character and feel of the center they select. This also allows us to develop locations for employers to fit their needs and their vision of childcare," McCabe explained.

netp@rk.tampabay shares Creative World's dedication to meet the emotional, physical and intellectual needs of children. The center is committed to hiring only the most caring, experienced and certified caregivers for its students. Creative World is recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

One of the best benefits Creative World can offer netp@rk's employees is the ability for parents to work in the same facility with their children. The commercial grade kitchen and the food service amenities available at netp@rk make it easy for parents to join their children for lunch.

Formerly Eastlake Square Mall, the one million square foot netp@rk.tampabay is currently undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation to become America's first corporate supercenter. With large, open spaces, abundant parking and individual suites ranging from 5,000 to 250,000 square feet, netp@rk.tampabay is ideally suited to the needs of large call, customer service, back office operations, technology research and data processing centers. Spacious, open floor plates and 18-foot ceilings allow suites to be configured to virtually any specification for multiple large tenants.

netp@rk.tampabay is located at 5701 East Hillsborough Avenue in Tampa, Florida. It is owned by John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company and managed by Divaris Property Management Corp.

Divaris Real Estate has been appointed to exclusively represent Creative World in their expansion nationwide. Henry McClure of DRE's Tampa office, is heading the real estate expansion team for Creative World. According to McClure, Creative World is planning to open ten franchise and ten corporate locations nationwide.

"They are looking for freestanding buildings that range from 8,000 to 10,000 square feet with playground areas contiguous to the buildings. The sizes are determined by the childcare needs in the market. Each site will allow for 35 square feet of space per child and 100 square feet of playground for at least one half of the enrollment," McClure said.

With over 25 years of childcare experience, Creative World not only has the expertise but also the vision to provide every child with the foundation needed to realize his or her individual potential.

Creative World has developed a curriculum for each age group from infants through age 12, based on standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Some of the additional services provided by Creative World include: discovery learning, kindergarten readiness, field trips, flexible programs, summer camps, and before and after-school programs. Another feature Creative World offers is the ability for parents to view their children at anytime on their personal computers through the web site www.parentwatch.com. Creative World is affiliated with this service and has installed cameras in each of its centers. Only parents with passwords can access the daycare centers to view real live streaming images of their children. This service is designed to give working parents peace of mind throughout the workday.
