DRE Appointed to Lease and Manage Atlanta Office Park

ATLANTA, GA: The Divaris Real Estate Atlanta office has been awarded the management and leasing contract for Galleria 75 Office Park. Galleria 75 is located in the northwest quadrant of Atlanta at the new Kennedy Interchange. The park comprises two office buildings totaling 113,633 square feet, and is owned by UNUM Life Insurance Co. of America.

Says Michael Divaris "Ann Tillman, CPM, based in Atlanta, will be responsible for the day-to-day management. Leasing responsibilities will be strategically divided between Divaris Real Estate and Alan Joel Partners, a well-known leasing specialist who is located close to the property. By combining resources, Divaris Real Estate can offer its owner better access to prospective tenants."

The building, located along I-75, is well positioned for the new Kennedy Interchange which is set to open later this year. Divaris Real Estate has also appointed Mary McGovern, who relocated from its Norfolk office to Atlanta, to handle tenant relations and third party broker relations.

The property is currently 88 percent leased, with an additional ten percent becoming vacant by year end. Says Billy Bauman, Divaris' Atlanta partner, "reasonable rates with good parking and great access onto I-75 and Interstate 285 should provide a great and reasonable alternative to other sites in northwest Atlanta."

Also assigned to the leasing will be Steven Kesler from Divaris Real Estate and Gerilyn Forester of Alan Joel Partners.

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta, Georgia office of Divaris Real Estate has been appointed managing agent for a private real estate portfolio located in Atlanta and surrounding areas. The commercial properties total approximately 436,931 square feet in fourteen buildings. The portfolio, assembled by Atlanta investor Sol Margolias is indicative of the opportunistic acquisitions of the early nineties that, today, are significantly more valuable based on higher occupancies, stable markets and lower cap rates.

"They are now ripe for the management efficiencies that our company can provide," says Billy Bauman of the Atlanta office.

The acquisition of this mixed portfolio of offices, flex and retail portfolios was spearheaded by Steven Kesler, director of corporate office services for DRE's Atlanta office and will be operated under the guidance of E. Ann Tillman, CPM, CCIM, CEA.
