DRE to Lease Peninsula Town Center
NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA -- Divaris Real Estate has been appointed to lease portions of the retail and office components of Peninsula Town Center, a 1.1 million-square-foot, mixed-use development on the site of the former Coliseum Mall in Hampton, Va.
Situated at the major intersection of Interstates 64 and 664, the retail component of the project is anchored by Macy’s, Target and JCPenney. Barnes & Noble will also occupy a 33,000-square-foot store in the open-air development.
Divaris is handling the leasing of two freestanding buildings, with 90,000 and 67,000 square feet of retail space, and the 100,000-square-feet of second- and third-floor office space. Peninsula Town Center also consists of 240 residential units on three levels above first-floor retail space. A grand opening is scheduled for Spring 2009.
