DRE to Lease Major Retail Project in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA –  Divaris Real Estate acquired the leasing of a major retail property, Towne Center West, in Richmond, Va.

The high-end mixed-use development is under construction adjacent to the Nordstrom-anchored Short Pump Towne Center.  Developers The Breeden Company, appointed Debbie Wake and Brenda Martin, of DRE’s Richmond office to lease the retail space and outparcels in Towne Center West. 

“This is a unique opportunity for specialty tenants to benefit from the great draw of Short Pump Towne Center,” Wake says.  By 2007, the 40-acre development will be linked by a connector road to the mall, with easy access to I-64, I-295 and Rt. 288. 

Fronting on West Broad Street will be a full-service Hilton Hotel, a high-end furniture store, over 80,000 square feet of shops, office buildings and restaurants.  Towne Center West will be the center of a rapidly growing area, with some of the region’s highest incomes and a daytime population exceeding 25,000.
