ROSS DRESS FOR LESS LEASES 30,187 SQUARE FEET 
AT COLISEUM CROSSING, HAMPTON, VA

HAMPTON, VIRGINIA:  Gerald Divaris, Chairman/CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., announced the signing of a lease with Ross Stores, Inc. for 30,187 square feet at Coliseum Crossing in Hampton, Virginia.  This is Ross’s first store on the Virginia Peninsula.
 
Coliseum Crossing is located at 2101 Coliseum Drive in the Mercury Central Corridor.  Other tenants in the shopping center include Food Lion, Marshall’s and Dress Barn.  Ross will occupy the former Phar-Mor space.  
 
Ross Stores, Inc. began in 1982 with six stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. The country’s second largest off-price retailer generated $3.5 billion in sales during 2002 and currently operates 568 Ross Dress For Less stores in 25 states. Ross Stores, Inc. is exclusively represented by Divaris Real Estate in Hampton Roads, Richmond and Western Virginia.  The lease was negotiated by Mary McGovern and Gerald Divaris of Divaris Real Estate’s Virginia Beach office.  The Landlord, Robert Brown & Associates, was represented by Brad Brown, a partner in the firm.
