John Deacon joined the property management team of Divaris Real Estate in 2022. He has over 8 years’ experience in the commercial property management and real estate industry. He is diligent, hardworking, detail oriented and enjoys all aspects of commercial property management.
Experience
His commercial property management career began with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer in 2015, where he managed a commercial portfolio of office, retail & mixed-use properties totaling 800,000 square feet. In 2018, he joined Bethesda, MD based Broad Street Realty, Inc. where he was responsible for managing a shopping center portfolio of over 1 million square feet with properties located in Maryland, Virginia and Colorado.
Following his time at Broad Street Realty, Inc. and prior to joining Divaris he worked for Gates, Hudson and Associates where he managed a commercial portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties located throughout Northern Virginia and Maryland while also overseeing an engineering and property management team that supported his portfolio.
John graduated from Virginia Tech in 2014 where he majored in Property Management.
