Charles is the Principal and Broker in Charge of the Charlotte office of Divaris Real Estate. In addition to his role as lead of the Charlotte office, his primary focus is on Retail and Office transactions throughout the Carolinas.
With over 20 years of experience in real estate, Charles has represented a host of clients from small local business’ to Fortune 100 companies. In 1994 Charles began his real estate career at one of the top independent firms in Charlotte later moving on to one of the largest firms in the country. After 10 years he launched his own real estate firm which he successfully operated for another 10 years before being recruited to Divaris Real Estate in 2015.
He not only has experience in third party representation of investments, land, building sales and leasing, but has also personally owned and developed commercial real estate and leased space. His combination of being an owner and tenant gives him a 360° understanding of transactions thus providing a unique and above average ability to represent his clients from their perspective.
Charles a native to Charlotte, is married with four children, and enjoys spending time playing sports and a variety of activities that take him into the great outdoors with his family. He volunteers for several service organizations and coaches little league baseball and soccer.
Charles graduated from Gardner Webb University in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration and minor in Economics.
