Divaris Real Estate Awarded Retail Leasing Assignment of Over 220,000 Square Feet Across Three Buildings at Peninsula Town Center
Elizabeth Napolitano and Ben Clarke to lead leasing strategy at Hampton’s premier mixed-use destination
Hampton, VA (October 23, 2026) — Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (Divaris) has been selected by Linville Team Partners to oversee retail leasing for Buildings F, G, and H at Peninsula Town Center, representing 227,424 square feet within the nearly 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use development in Hampton, Virginia. Vice President Elizabeth Napolitano and Senior Associate Ben Clarke will lead the leasing strategy for the three-building portfolio.
The appointment follows Divaris’ established success at Town Center of Virginia Beach, which prompted Linville Team Partners to seek the firm’s expertise in enhancing Peninsula Town Center’s retail offerings and attracting new businesses to the property.
“We’ve invested in Peninsula Town Center twice since June 2025 because we believe in Hampton and the long-term potential of this center,” said Brent Lindley, Vice President of Operations for Linville Team Partners. “As we look toward the next phase of leasing, Divaris is a natural partner to help us build on that investment and bring new opportunities to the property.”
Located at the intersection of Interstate 64 and West Mercury Boulevard, Peninsula Town Center has served as a major retail and lifestyle destination on the Virginia Peninsula since opening in 2010. The open-air development features a mix of national retailers, restaurants, entertainment venues, office space, and residential communities, with major anchors including Target, JCPenney, Barnes & Noble, H&M, and PetSmart.
“What makes Peninsula Town Center particularly exciting is the opportunity to build on what’s already there,” said Elizabeth Napolitano, Vice President at Divaris. “The center has a strong foundation, from its established retail presence to its accessibility and proximity to some of Hampton’s biggest attractions. We see tremendous potential to introduce fresh dining, retail, and entertainment concepts that complement the existing businesses and give people even more reasons to visit.”
The leasing portfolio currently includes vacant space opportunities offering flexibility for a range of concepts, from boutique stores and restaurants to larger-format retail and entertainment uses. Divaris will focus on expanding the center’s dining options, introducing new-to-market retailers, and attracting experiential entertainment, fitness, wellness, and service-oriented businesses that generate consistent activity throughout the day and evening.
The timing of the assignment also coincides with significant regional infrastructure improvements. The $3.9 billion Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel expansion, anticipated to be substantially complete in 2027, is expected to improve connectivity between the Peninsula and Southside communities.
“Peninsula Town Center has long been a central hub for retail and entertainment in Hampton, and we’re excited to help shape its next chapter,” said Ben Clarke, Senior Associate at Divaris. “Working alongside new ownership, our focus is on building a balanced, successful tenant mix that strengthens the center’s position in the market while creating opportunities for both established brands and new concepts looking to enter the Peninsula.”
