RICHMOND, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of eight transactions totaling 101,376 square feet of sold and leased commercial space in Richmond.

Sale Transactions

Keith Corp. purchased the 86,000-square-foot former Kmart store located at 1355 West Main Street in Salem, Virginia, from Sears Holdings for $3,656,000. Sam McCoy, Brett McNamee and Ali McCrickard represented the seller in the transaction. The new buyers intend to redevelop the space to accommodate new anchor tenants. Divaris Real Estate has been retained to handle the leasing of this site.

Trebour Holdings, LLC purchased the 2,995-square-foot former BB&T branch located at 9004 Huguenot Road in Richmond from 9004 Huguenot Road, LLC for $915,000. Read Goode represented the seller and Cheryle Toy represented the buyer in this investment sale.

Ironwood Automotive, LLC purchased the 3,500-square-foot former Cosby Auto location at 1704 Belleville Street in Richmond from the Trustees for Thomas Anthony Weiler, Sr. and Anna Moore Weiler, for $490,000. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the seller of the automotive repair shop.

Lease Transactions

Marathon Consulting leased 2,334 square feet of office space in the Virginia Mutual Building located at 4480 Cox Road in Glen Allen, Va. Sezin Cortinas and Ali McCrickard represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Marathon Consulting, headquartered in Virginia Beach, is an Information Technology Consulting firm specializing in software and digital marketing services. They are opening a permanent office in Richmond to serve their expanding client base.

US Fitness Products leased 2,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Innsbrook Shoppes located at 4028 Cox Road in Glen Allen, Va. The Richmond office of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

FM Solutions leased 1,850 square feet of office space in the Bon Air Professional Building located at 2800 Buford Road in Richmond. Ali McCrickard represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Sonic leased 1,497 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased property located at 805 West Cary Street in Richmond. The Richmond office of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. This will be the first location for Sonic in the Richmond metropolitan area.

VeoRide leased 1,200 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased property located at 211 North 18th Street in Richmond. Eric Hammond and Laikyn Severson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
