RICHMOND, VA: Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of eight transactions totaling 30,937 square feet of sold and leased commercial space in Central Virginia.

Sales Transaction

CS1031 Opportunity Zone 1 purchased .40 acres of land located at 3008 West Clay Street in Richmond from 3008 W. Clay Street LLC for $1,200,000. Read Goode represented the buyer in the transaction. The buyer recently acquired the adjacent property. It will demolish all structures on both properties to construct a five-story apartment building with approximately 5,000 square feet of commercial space.

Lease Transactions

Genesis Learning Center leased 8,470 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased South Crater Road Plaza located at 2793 South Crater Road in Petersburg, Va. John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Food Lion anchors the shopping center.

Wood & Iron leased 5,217 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased 1403 Roseneath Road in Richmond. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. This will be the second location for Wood & Iron by the owners of Flyin’ Pig Backyard Grill and Asado.

Sentara Medical Group leased 4,990 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Waynesboro Town Center located at 740 Town Center Drive in Waynesboro, Va. Brett McNamee, Ali McCrickard and Laikyn Severson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Waynesboro Town Center include: Ross Dress for Less, Michael’s, PetSmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Rack Room Shoes, Bath & Body Works, LOFT and America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.

Lighting Professors leased 3,812 square feet of office space in North Run Business Center located at 1716 East Parham Road in Richmond. Laikyn Severson represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Lenscrafters leased 3,450 square feet of retail space in The Creeks at Virginia Centre located at 9850 Brook Road in Glen Allen, Va. Sezin Cortinas represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.

Blast Youth Sports leased 3,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Woodlake Commons located at 6912 Woodlake Commons Loop in Midlothian, Va. Sara Goodall, Laikyn Severson and Madeleine Alderman represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Paisano’s leased 1,998 square feet of retail space located at 805 West Cary Street in Richmond. Cheryle Toy, Read Goode and Chris Saa represented the tenant and the Richmond office of Divaris Real Estate represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. This is Paisano’s first restaurant in the Richmond area. Founded in 1998, Paisano’s operates 45 restaurants in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
