The total of additional retail space is 189,851 square feet, located in the Hampton Roads metropolitan statistical area of Virginia.
The new properties include:
Kempsville Crossing is 79,512 square feet of retail space located at 1832 Kempsville Road in Virginia Beach. Walmart Neighborhood Market anchors this shopping center in Kempsville, a densely populated submarket in Virginia Beach. Kempsville Crossing is home to retailers McDonald’s, Subway, Pizza Hut, Super Cuts, Kelly’s Tavern, Iron Asylum Gym, and 17 Hands Coffee.
General Booth Plaza is 71,639 square feet of retail space located at 1615 General Booth Boulevard in Virginia Beach. The Food Lion-anchored neighborhood center is situated on the corner of General Booth Boulevard and Dam Neck Road. Retailers in this center include Papa John’s Pizza, Virginia ABC, Patient First, Tread Quarters, and service offerings such as a dry cleaner, nail salon, and tax preparation firm.
Oak Ridge Shopping Center is 38,700 square feet of retail space located at 1524 Holland Road in Suffolk, Va. This Food Lion-anchored neighborhood center has convenient and immediate access to US-58 and US-13, and serves some of the highest average household incomes in Hampton Roads. Retailers in this center include Subway, Arby’s, and BB&T.
Leasing of the three new properties is being handled by George Fox, Kristopher Fuller and Caroline Zarpas. Fox, Fuller and Zarpas specialize in leasing grocery-anchored shopping centers for their landlords.
