Lease Transactions

Spenga leased 3,883 square feet of retail space in Barracks Row located at 1200 North Emmet St. in Charlottesville, Va.  Dave Redmond represented the tenant in the lease negotiations.  Spenga is a spin, strength and yoga fitness studio.

Sundays Tanning leased 2,180 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Chesapeake Commons located at 4107 Portsmouth Blvd. in Chesapeake.   Levi Thomson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Tenants in Chesapeake Commons include Best Buy, Ross Dress for Less, Aldi, Old Navy, Party City and many others.

1st Class Real Estate leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed East Beach Marketplace located at 4027 E Little Creek Road in Norfolk.   Kris Fuller and George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.  Other tenants in the Food Lion-anchored East Beach Marketplace include Planet Fitness, Family Dollar, Bon Secours, Domino’s, Verizon, Papa John’s, Jimmy John’s, Tropical Smoothie and CVS Pharmacy.

Southeastern Virginia Chapter of Community Associations Institute (SEVA-CAI) leased 1,195 square feet of office space located at 4867 Baxter Rd in Virginia Beach.  Krista Costa and Nicole Campbell represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Coastal Mortgage Group leased 825 square feet of Divaris-leased office space located at 1206 Laskin Road in Virginia Beach.  Vivian Turok and Elizabeth Paasch represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Lease Renewals

Kroger renewed its lease for 59,828 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Broadmoor Plaza located at 1143 East Ireland Road South Bend, Indiana.  Gerald Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.   Other tenants in Broadmoor Plaza include JOANN, Staples, Wells Fargo, Little Caesars, Burger King and Jackson Hewitt.

Peninsula Institute for Community Health renewed its lease for 6,400 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Armory Plaza located at 1311 Armory Drive in Franklin, Va.   Kris Fuller and George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.   Other tenants in Armory Plaza include Subway, Franklin Bowling and BMA Southampton Dialysis.

Clinical Associates of Tidewater renewed its lease for 4,331 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Liberty Commons located at 12695 McManus Blvd. in Newport News.   Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Sierra Pacific Mortgage Company renewed its lease for 2,213 square feet of office space in Thalia One located at 4164 Virginia Beach Blvd. in Virginia Beach.   Elizabeth Paasch represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.

Great Wall Chinese restaurant renewed its lease for 1,355 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Armory Plaza located at 1311 Armory Drive in Franklin.   Kris Fuller and George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
