RICHMOND, VA (October 7, 2020) — Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the completion of seven transactions totaling 33,940 square feet of commercial properties sold, leased and renewed in Central Virginia.
Sales Transaction
Nicholson Properties, LLC purchased the 15,600 square-foot former Salvation Army retail building located at 11000 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond from The Salvation Army for $2,400,000. Read Goode and Cheryle Toy represented the buyer in the transaction. The owner- occupied property will be the site of the market’s first East Coast Appliance store.
Lease Transactions
Luxury Furniture leased 5,400 square feet of industrial space located at 2614 Lancelot Avenue in Richmond. John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
U.S. Army Recruiting leased 4,500 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Coleman Marketplace located at 155 Holt Garrison Parkway in Danville. Loretta Cataldi and Jimmy Cunneen represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Majed S. Muharam leased 3,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased property located at 6305 Jefferson Davis Highway in Richmond. John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
7th District Republican Committee leased 2,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Victorian Square located at 10801 Hull Street Road in Midlothian. John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Marla Renee Beauty & Co. leased 1,200 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Victorian Square located at 11021 Hull Street Road in Midlothian. John Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Lease Renewal
AT&T renewed its lease for 2,040 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Waynesboro Town Center located at 740 Town Center Drive in Waynesboro. Brett McNamee and Ali McCrickard represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
