Krista Costa is Executive Vice President of Corporate Services and Office Leasing for Divaris Real Estate, Inc.’s corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Since beginning her commercial real estate career in 2001, she has established herself as one of Hampton Roads’ leading commercial real estate professionals, specializing in office leasing, investment sales, and corporate real estate services throughout Coastal Virginia.
A lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, Krista brings an exceptional understanding of the region’s commercial real estate market. She represents both property owners, corporate occupiers, and investors in lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic real estate planning across Southeastern Virginia. Krista currently oversees the leasing of a portfolio exceeding one million square feet of office space on behalf of institutional owners, REITs, and local investors. Her portfolio includes premier Class A office properties in the Town Center of Virginia Beach, as well as Class B and Class C office assets throughout Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Suffolk. In addition to landlord representation, Krista partners with corporate clients and professional service firms to develop occupancy strategies that align with their operational and financial objectives.
Throughout her career, Krista has consistently been recognized as a top-performing commercial real estate professional. Her honors include the Hampton Roads Commercial Alliance Gold Commercial Sales & Leasing Award, multiple CoStar Power Broker Awards recognizing her among Hampton Roads’ top office leasing professionals, the Virginia Business Women in Leadership Award, Real Estate Forum’s Women of Influence Award for Mentoring, Divaris Real Estate Employee of the Year, Divaris Real Estate Community Service Award, and recognition as one of Hampton Roads’ Top Forty Under 40.
Krista earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University, graduating with concentrations in Finance and International Business.
An active leader within the commercial real estate community, Krista serves as Chair of the Advisory Board for the E.V. Williams Center for Real Estate at Old Dominion University. She is also committed to mentoring future industry professionals and serves as a mentor through Old Dominion University’s Women’s Initiative Network.
