Sezin Cortinas is an Executive Vice President of Retail at Divaris Real Estate, Inc.’s corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach. With nearly two decades of experience in commercial real estate, Sezin specializes in retail sales and leasing, representing both landlords and tenants throughout the East Coast.
Sezin leases The Town Center of Virginia Beach, a 2 million-square-foot mixed-use development, where she has led the successful entry of numerous high-profile national tenants into the market, including Anthropologie, lululemon, Nike, Free People, West Elm, Paper Source, Tupelo Honey Café, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, bluemercury, Shake Shack, Cava, Cantina Laredo, Madewell, South Moon Under, Apex Entertainment (the first in the Southeast), and others.
In tenant representation, Sezin’s strategic approach has earned Divaris state-wide representation of national and regional brands such as Luxottica brands, Bob’s Discount Furniture, and TASTE. She represents IKEA and was instrumental in brokering the company’s second location in Virginia. Her extensive portfolio also includes working with DSW, Kirkland’s, ULTA, Milan Laser Hair Removal, honeygrow, Orvis, World Market, Xponential Fitness, Gelati Celesti, Chicken Salad Chick, and Nando’s Peri-Peri.
Sezin’s deep market knowledge, combined with strong relationships with retailers, developers, municipalities, and major landlords—including Simon, Westfield, Inland, RPAI, Kite Realty, Seritage, and Brookfield Properties—positions her as a trusted advisor to her clients. She is known for her innovative thinking, strategic deal-making, and the ability to successfully balance landlord and tenant representation.
Sezin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.
